Fees & Schedules
ENROLLMENT
University Preschool is open to all children regardless of race, creed,
sex, national origin or religion. Children with special needs will be
admitted based upon available resources and with the concurrence of the
Teacher, Director, and the Board of Directors.
All children must be at least three (3) years of age as of September
1 and potty trained to attend. Our classrooms are normally of mixed age
groups.
SCHEDULE
University Preschool opens the Monday after Labor Day and ends the second Friday in June. We are also open the eight weeks which coincide with the EWU summer quarter. We offer classes for children who are 3 thru 5 years of age at the beginning of the school year for which they are registered. We recommend the 2 day morning class for the first time school experiences for 3 year olds. Our afternoon Pre-K/Kindergarten is available for older 4's and 5's.
Our school year generally follows EWU's academic schedule, with a one
week break between quarters and three weeks for the winter holidays. We
offer both morning and afternoon sessions. Our morning preschool session
for children ages 3 to 5 begins at 8:00 am and ends at 11:30 am. Our afternoon
pre-kindergarten session for children 4 to 5 begins at 12:30 pm and ends
at 3:30 pm. We do not offer wrap-around child care or daycare over the
lunch period.
REGISTRATION/TUITION FEES
An annual $40 non-refundable registration fee is due when you enroll your
child; returning families and/or those with more than one child in the
program pay $20 registration fee.
Tuition is based upon the actual costs of running the school and is due
quarterly. A typical quarter lasts 12 weeks and generally coincides with
EWU's schedule. All school supplies, field trips, snacks, group photos,
and incidentals are included in the tuition fees. Tuition is due in full
on the first day of the quarter. Monthly payments without interest may
be arranged for your convenience at your request, however, all fees must
be paid in full at the end of any quarter in which they are due in order
for your child to continue in the program. Payment schedules for special
circumstances may be arranged with the Director and must be approved by
the Board of Directors.

All of the following are available for Fall, Winter or Spring Quarters:
2 day: Tues/Thur $380/qtr
3 day: Mon/Wed/Fri $500/qtr
5 day: Mon thru Fri $710/qtr
